New Ideas Engineering was
established in 2005 to dramatically and cost effectively
improve the sand cast foundry process.
Our Mission
The mission of New Ideas Engineering is to evaluate and
improve the efficiency and quality of the green sand mold
process. Whereas foundry operators currently focus most of
their process improvement efforts on metallurgical issues,
seldom has the industry sought to significantly improve the
bond activation rates in the green sand portion of the
production cycle. For decades a 30 percent yield in the
production of molds has been accepted as a consumable cost.
Now the Bond Activation System from New Ideas Engineering
significantly improves the efficiency, performance and
environmental impact of sand casting by dramatically
improving the bond activation rates within sand molds. Read
